barrett and walker

In the Barrett vs. Walker campaign, both candidates promise to bring back jobs by a series of initiatives. Barrett plans to do so by consolidating and organizing economic development efforts and creating a new 100 million dollar venture capital fund to help start-up companies. Walker promises he will lead to the creation of 250,000 jobs over the next four years. He plans to cut taxes for small businesses and eliminate the tax on health saving accounts. In the book Nickel and Dimed the people on minimum wage are barely making it by.  Today, the same problem is occurring.  Barrett and Walker both promise to help people like this and make it better through this time off recession.

  1. I like the facts about the campaign that you brought up, but you need to cite how and where you found them. Also, you should probably make more connections with the book as well. An image would also help your blog even better. I do think that you found good facts about the campaign though.
